Northside Christian Church holds a pancake breakfast, basement
sale and tailgate sale the first Saturday of every month. The sale and
breakfast begin at 8:00am. The breakfast closes at 10:30am. The sales
end at noon. To make reservations for the tailgate sale, call (324)
868-1483 or (314) 868-5722. The breakfast is $4.00 which includes either
pancakes and sausage patties or biscuits and sausage gravy, and
beverage. Join us for breakfast and great bargains.

11:00am to 7:00pm on the corner of Reavis Barracks & Union Rd in South
County.

Grace Chapel’s Chapel Guild will hold a Re-Sell-It Sale on
Saturday October 11th from 8:30am to 1:00pm. There will also be a bag
sale from Noon to 1:00pm. Items to be sold include clothing, shoes,
small appliances, books, games, toys, and sports equipment.

The Worship Ministry Team of St. John UCC is sponsoring their
2nd annual Fall Craft Fair on Saturday, October 11, 2008, at the church.
The church is located at 228 N Sixth St in Wood River, IL and is
handicap accessible. The fair opens at 9:00am and runs until 4:00pm.
A
variety of crafters and vendors will be present, but there are still
openings for vendors. Tables are $15.00 and we provide 8-foot tables and
2 chairs per table.
Food is available for purchase by everyone. It
includes homemade vegetable soup, homemade chili, hot dogs, chili dogs,
nachos and baked goods. Tea, coffee and soda is also available.
Cabaret Night at Hope

Enjoy an evening of dining and entertainment: It's Cabaret
Night at Hope Lutheran to Benefit Kids Against Hunger. The evening
begins with a wine, cheese and fruit reception from 6:00 - 7:00pm,
followed by a buffet-style Prime Rib dinner from 7:00 - 7:30pm. From
7:30 - 8:30pm, the St. Louis Sirens will perform a musical journey of
Broadway, pop and jazz from the 1940's to the present. The St. Louis
Sirens are a group of four talented ladies who have performed
professionally throughout the area for several years. Download

Hope Lutheran Church hosts a 'Trivia Night' to benefit the
Haitian House of Hope Medical Clinic Building Fund. Doors open at
6:30pm with the trivia contest beginning promptly at 7:00pm. The
entrance fee is $160.00 for a table of eight players. Tables of
fewer than 8 may also participate at the $20.00 per person rate. First
place will pay $400.00, second place $240.00. There will also be Haitian
Crafts, door prizes and 50/50 drawings. Soft drinks and snacks are
provided. Players may provide their own refreshments if desired.

A spaghetti supper will be served at Northside Christian Church
beginning at 4:00pm. The cost is $6.00 (all you can eat) which includes
spaghetti, bread, salad, beverage and pie. Serving will conclude at
7:00pm. Take outs are available. No reservations required. Come and

Laugh at ourselves while we benefit Habitat for Humanity
“Church Basement Ladies” is a heavenly and hilarious new musical
comedy that is selling out nationwide! A true celebration of the ‘church
basement kitchen and the ladies who work there.’ “Church Basement
Ladies” follows four women as they organize the food and solve the
problems of a Minnesota Lutheran church. They stave off potential
disasters and keep the pastor in line while thoroughly enjoying each
other as the ‘steel magnolias’ of the church. It’s funny and down to
earth, and you’ll laugh out loud as the church year unfolds from below
the house of God. Perfect fun for everyone!
For every group ticket sold to “Church Basement Ladies” the
Florissant Fine Arts Council will donate $2.00 to Habitat for Humanity -
St. Louis, to be generously matched by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
That’s $4.00 for every group ticket donated to Habitat for Humanity -
St. Louis.
We will meet at the theatre for the 2:00pm performance on Sunday,

family-friendly. The cost is $20.00 for family group of 4. Additional
