World AIDS Day Memorial

6:00pmFrom 6:00 to 8:00pm on Monday, Dec. 1, Christ Church Cathedral
(Episcopal) invites everyone to be part of the worldwide movement
leading the response to AIDS. The World AIDS Day Memorial Service will
be held at the Cathedral, located downtown across from the Main Library.
An hour before the 7:00pm service, there will be a reading of names of
those who have died, those who continue to live with HIV/AIDS and those
who give care. At the service, The Rev. Michael Kinman will preach and
The Rev. Renee Fenner will be the celebrant. The service includes the
voices of the Gateway Men's Chorus and the Sacrament of Healing. Panels
from the Names Project also will be on display. |
